A rocking wedding at Pimhill Barn!
When Bex and Joe found me on the Pimhill Barn recommended supplier page I was super happy as the venue is truly amazing! Situated in Shrewsbury, Pimhill Barn truly is a wedding barn. Where most have been converted and contain a few features, Pimhill Barn stays true to it's core and it looks stunning because of it!
Bridal preparations in the on site cottage.
I arrived to an excited bride to be and her bridal party who were getting ready in the on site cottage. It offers plenty of room to get ready making it the perfect setting to start your big day! While getting ready Bex and her bridesmaids made breakfast, drank fancy champagne and laughed lots! I knew right away this was going to be a wedding to remember as everyone was excited for the wedding and with Christmas a few days away, everyone had earned a break away from work and the shopping madness. Makeup was done Jessica Jackson who got team bride looking awesome for their big day head.
Getting married and sunset portraits
Their wedding took place at St Mary Magdalene Church and it was a lovely service from start to finish with the newly weds smiling all the way through as their family and friends watched on mirroring their expressions. Of course a service wouldn't be complete without a flower girl storming the aisle to get a closer look!
After the service the couple walked through a shower of confetti before jumping into the wedding car and heading back over to the barn. When we arrived we went into some portraits as with winter weddings it's best to make the most of the sunlight while we have it! Pimhill Barn offers lots of different backgrounds so it was lovely to explore the grounds to find locations to capture some natural portraits. Bex and Joe fell into each other easily and capturing them being themselves and laughing with one another was a real pleasure!
After portraits we joined the wedding guests where I was able to capture some documentary shots of people having a great time while the String Quartet - Sounds Interesting, performed for the guests.
a rocking evening with live music and lots of dancing
After the speeches and wedding breakfast we ran outside for a couple of night portraits and had some fun with some sparklers with some of the guests. Once we headed back inside the dance floor was already full of guests dancing along to Jordan Brown, a wedding singer who was performing first before the DJ, Groove Noise. When the dance floor is this full before the first dance you know it's going to be a wild evening and it certainly didn't disappoint with guests dancing constantly from start to finish! It's the perfect time to get in close to the action to capture some great images and it's so easy to keep going when everyones having such an amazing time!
