Editors Choice on Photographers Keeping It Real!
What an awesome email to receive! I was hand picked for the Editors Choice on Photographers Keeping It Real! PKIR is a collective that is aimed to promote and showcase “The worlds best documentary wedding photographers”, drawing attention to the real moments that happen during a wedding rather than anything setup. They’re not looking for pretty portraits or anything staged, they want to show the real moments that take place that us wedding photographers love to chase!
There’s so much more to a wedding than just the usual key moments, there’s lots of little stories happening throughout the day, and that’s what keeps it so fresh for us and what makes each wedding unique.
I shot this image last year during Cara and Seans wedding at Gibbon Bridge, Lancashire. I was waiting for the Brides Dad to see her for the first time and captured this little moment that took place just before! Read more about it below or head over to the PKIR website.
