Rebecca and Mike's Ashfield House Wedding!
Ashfield House Wedding Photography
Rebecca and Mike chose Ashfield House for their wedding celebration. Situated in Wigan Ashfield House is an award-winning wedding venue and for good reason. The place is looked after regularly meaning it looks amazing and is always freshly updated. Rebecca got ready with her bridesmaids and her mum in the bridal room upstairs while Mike got ready with the guys at home. As Rebecca made her way down the aisle Mike smiled from ear to ear as he stood waiting. The ceremony was full of little glances and laughter and was perfect from start to finish. After the newlyweds had exchanged vows, they headed outside to greet the family and friends. This was the perfect opportunity for me to capture some lovely reactions from the wedding guests. Once everyone had had a chance to say hello they lined up and threw confetti over the bride and groom. Of course, it wouldn’t be a wedding without a family member tipping the remaining confetti over the head of the bride. As it was a nice day, guests remained at the front of Ashfield house where they were serenaded by an acoustic musician and where they ate and drank until being called into the wedding breakfast room. During the drinks reception, I weaved through the crowd looking for natural moments to capture.
Wedding photos at an Award-Winning Lancashire Venue.
Ashfield house offers plenty of photo opportunities whether the sun is shining it’s raining outside making it the perfect wedding venue choice. Before the guests were called in to be seated I still have a couple for 15 minutes to capture some natural portraits around the grounds. During this time I advise the couple to catch up on the morning antics and to just be themselves. Once we were done they joined the guest in the wedding breakfast room where the speeches took place. After some emotional speeches and once the wedding breakfast was finished guests headed back outside to make the most of the sunshine, this allowed me to continue capturing natural moments of the guests enjoying themselves. As the sun started to set we made our way inside for the cutting of the cake and the first dance. Once this was done guests enjoyed the music both inside and outside and tucked into pizzas from the pizza oven outback. It really was the perfect way to end a perfect day.
