Leanne and Stephen's Mitton Hall Wedding!
Mitton Hall Wedding Photographer
Leanne and Stephen chose Mittan Hall as the location to exchange their vows. Mitton hall has felt like a second home to me recently having been there so many times over the past few weeks. Situated in Clitheroe Lancashire. Mitton Hall mixes the old with the new with plenty of character in the main entrance hall, but a clean, neutral space where your wedding takes place so that you can decorate it however you wish.
Leanne started her morning getting ready with the girls having her hair and make up done with a glass of Prosecco and plenty of smiles around the room. Everyone was in good spirits for the day ahead, and despite the rising temperature I can tell it was going to be a great party. Leanne had warned me that Stephen would be arriving separately to the groomsmen as she had hired an Audi Sports car for the weekend for him to drive to the venue as a surprise. When Stephen arrived in the car he was buzzing with excitement along with the groomsmen.
Once the Leanne was in her dress, the bridesmaids left the room and she revealed her dress choice to only her dad. This was an emotional moment and was lovely to capture for them.
Getting married at Mitton Hall, Lancashire.
Leanne was all smiles as she made her way down the aisle during the wedding ceremony. They exchanged small glances throughout and smiled and laughed making it extra special. The wedding proved to be quite emotional for some family members so the tissues were passed around.
After the wedding ceremony the bride and groom made their way to the front of Milton Hall where they greeted the wedding guests before being showered with confetti which had all the guests involved. After a few family photos we headed back into the gardens where are the drinks reception took place which was the perfect opportunity for me to capture some candid moments. The temperature was still rising making the day a hot one but it was a welcome change as summer was long overdue.
After a little while I took the newlyweds to the front of the wedding venue to have some natural portraits using the venue has a stunning backdrop. It was a great opportunity to give them some time to themselves away from the madness.
It was soon time to be seated for the speeches before the wedding breakfast. All three speeches were packed with little tales and plenty of emotion keeping the room entertained from start to finish. It was lovely to hear little stories about the newlyweds to get to know them a little more.
After the speeches and wedding breakfast the guests headed back outside to make the most of a glorious day. Children and their parents had found the garden games back so were keeping themselves entertained playing with those. Before the evening guests arrived I took the opportunity to capture a few more natural moments of the couple in the rear gardens as the sun set at the back of the venue. Once the formalities are done are usually find couples relax more by the second session, and with different light in the evening it’s always nice to split these into two smaller sessions.
Once the guests arrived it was time to get the party started. It was great to see Chris from DFC DJing that evening as he always plays the right tracks to keep the dance-floor busy. Ellie Sax was also added to the bill, bringing her Ibiza vibe to the dance-floor which everyone dancing and singing along.
It really was a perfect wedding with both couples looking amazing and having a great time. I love to capture wedding is naturally at Mitton Hall to really tell the story of the day. The staff throughout the venue are helpful from start to finish to ensure your day runs perfectly.
