For so long I wondered what it would be like to see my name at the top of Google and this week it finally happened!! I track my SEO progress (I know it's geeky) using SEO Edge and yesterday morning I took the top spot for Wigan, my hometown, and climbed massively for the North West search term!
I've already noticed a climb in my websites traffic and it's a great feeling to know that my work will be seen by more people. I try to post as much as possible on social media but my website is the key home for my work and where most of my information can be accessed, so it's nice to know it's now easier to find! Hopefully it will stay there for some time ;)
This week I shot the wedding of Emma and Justin at the Village Hotel in Cheadle. It was such a lovely day and a real pleasure to be apart of. They had people from all over the world come to witness the wedding, with a lot of Justin's family coming from France. I'll tell you more about their story when I blog their wedding down the line but here's a snap from their day. Winter weddings can be tricky for photography as it goes dark earlier and the weather isn't always on your side; however, if you embrace the dark and get outside for your photography then some real magic can happen!
