Sarah and Jack chose The Trinity Centre in Shrewsbury for the wedding venue. Situated a few minutes away from the centre of Shrewsbury, the Trinity Centre is a church with a twist. Set in stunning grounds the church also has outstanding facilities making it perfect for weddings and your reception. Attached to the church via a beautiful courtyard, is Bradbury Hall, which is perfect for a wedding reception and offers something a little different if that is what you’re looking for.

Sarah got ready at the family home with her bridesmaids and parents and as soon as I arrived everyone was in good spirits and excited for the day ahead. The bridesmaids were making their own bouquets which was a nice touch while getting ready. I spent an hour with the girls before heading over to the church to capture Jack and his groomsmen greeting guests as they arrived. The weather was said to be a little ropey but as of yet the sun was shining and it looks like we might get through the day without any rain.

Sarah ride to the church with her bridesmaids and her dad and was still as calm as ever. She walked the aisle smiling at her family and friends before locking onto Jack waiting patiently at the altar. The ceremony was full of laughter and sentiment as they exchange their vows and once the newlyweds and sealed the deal, headed outside to greet their family and friends before walking through a mountain of lavender confetti which was perfect for photos!

Guests shortly moved around into the courtyard which felt like it was within central Europe as the sun shone brightly. Locked away in our own private space you really felt like you were somewhere else. Before the wedding breakfast and speeches we explored the ground a little more to capture some natural portraits before coming back to be announced into the room.

The speeches had everyone in tears of laughter as each one was delivered perfectly and was full of feeling. After food everyone moved back into the courtyard where the drinking and laughter continued as the night slowly rolled in. As evening guests arrived the bride and groom geared up for the first dance. The first attempt tripped the noise limiter meaning they had to start again to everyone’s amusement. You know you’re in for a good night when you have to clear the dance-floor of people dancing in order to do your first dance, and as soon as the first dance was done, everyone was straight onto the dance-floor and remained their for most of the night.

The Trinity Centre has an earlier curfew than most venues, meaning the night has to be completed by 11 PM. However, as Sarah and Jack had planned a sparkler send off, this worked perfectly for them as they hung back and allowed the guests to go outside. They then made one last grand entrance through the sparklers and into the wedding car that waited for them at the end of the drive and heading off into the night. It was the perfect, romantic send off to end what can only be described as a perfect wedding day. It’s always nice to shoot somewhere new and The Trinity Centre has a very personal feel throughout making it extra special for your wedding day.
