Annisa and Ben's Oak Tree of Peover Wedding
IF YOU LOVE COLOUR THEN YOU’LL ADORE THIS RUSTIC WEDDING!
Annisa and Ben got married at the gorgeous The Oak Tree of Peover, Cheshire, in spring. It was an awesome rustic wedding, with so much colour everywhere and an epic party.
Getting ready
Annisa got ready at Bens parents house with family and her Bridesmaids, and there was such a relaxed vibe. She wore a stunning, sleeveless dress, and looked so perfect. She then jumped into vintage minis to get to the ceremony. It looked like a scene from the Italian Job!
The wedding ceremony.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful church in Newcastle under Lyme. The ceremony area was really cosy, which was so nice, as it had started raining as we had to leave for the ceremony so it was nice to have everyone cosy inside. The ceremony began with Annisa walking down the aisle with her proud Father, and finished with a big cheer from everyone. It was a romantic ceremony, full of private smiles and lots of laughter.
After the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. Then we travelled to the reception, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in. I got some beautiful candid photos outdoors – when we arrived at the Oak Tree of Peover. The weather was fresh and sunny, which I loved.
The reception
Annisa and Ben chose to have their wedding at The Oak Tree of Peover because it's simply stunning, and it’s so cosy and relaxed. The Oak Tree of Peover is a modern barn, and it’s got a really rustic feel to it, especially in the main room where the dinner was held.
The evening
After the speeches, the band started up to get the party started, and the dance-floor kicked off. The live band played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.
The evening ended with a few more natural portraits, which was just stunning as we made use of the extra tee-pee they had outside. The whole wedding was so laid back, from the romantic vows to the wonderful speeches. One of the most fun parts of the wedding was letting the couple be themselves during the portraits, because they just bounced off each other so well that it was such a pleasure to shoot. The game with the grapes after the meal was also a talking point of the wedding – as it's not something everyone had done before and it was so much fun for everyone.
I loved this Oak Tree of Peover wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a rustic wedding photographer, get in touch. Here are the photos!
